Process Lasso Pro 5.1

Process Lasso is not yet another task manager; it is a process, power, and CPU optimization and automation utility. One of Process Lasso's most popular features is a unique technology called ProBalance (Process Balance) that can improve your PC's responsiveness and stability.

Windows, by design, allows programs to monopolize your CPU without sufficient restraint -- leading to hangs and micro-lags. ProBalance intelligently adjusts the priorities of running programs on-demand so that badly behaved processes are less likely to negatively impact the responsiveness of your PC. It does this not by raising process priorities, but instead by temporarily lowering the priorities of background processes that may be interfering with PC responsiveness.

Have a hot-key override that you can enable when you suspect something will cripple the system, so you can bring up Process Lasso and manually deal with the issue.

Some problems can hit the system without Process Lasso seeing it, so make a hot key that is bios-level monitored. (Yes, it will slow things down to start with, but at least it will be seen and responded to without having to wait for the problem to...

Have a way to clearly show how much PL has improved the overall responsiveness of the system, so we KNOW that it has really been useful -- and by how much.

Eliminate unnecessary language packs--e.g. I personally don't need Serbo-Croatian language support.

I have an Intel Core2 processor and have been using Process Lasso Pro since the last time it was a GAOTD offer. I would suggest that developers have a way for people to offer 'Thanks' in the form of a PayPal payment (or whatever). I don't need to b

Please feel free to add this to my previous comment. I hit the return too soon! On my dual core system my virus checker (McAfee) really slows down the system when scanning. Not so much because of the CPU but because of disk access. Would there be

Have a toggle-able option to run or not run at start-up. This would be helpful when troubleshooting system problems, to take PL out of the loop.

Have a toggle-able option to run or not run at start-up. This would be helpful when troubleshooting system problems, to take PL out of the loop.

I'd like to be able to easily keep PL from running at start-up when I am troubleshooting problems on my computer, to make sure that they have nothing to do with PL. Rght now, there doesn't seem to be a clear, easy way to do this. I'd like to see...
